A Downward Turn

Hi All,
I may be out of commision for a while, unfortunately Grandmom has taken unexpected downward turn, I am traveling back to Philly for the weekend to be by her side. Please keep my Grandmother and my family in your prayers.

Saturday/Sunday Review Part 1

A great day, a wonderful time, a great girl. For the most part Saturday couldnt have gone any better, Carissa picked me up at around 9:30. I must admit I was waiting in my widnow for her to arrive, bags packed, several of bottles of wine in tow. When she arrived I wasnt dissapointed, as she opened the door to her car I was amazed at her attire, she was wearing these white linen see through pants and a bikini top, her long hair flowing and shining in the sunlight. She made it up my steps and immediately embraced me with a hug and a gentle peck on the cheek. She looked amazing and I was hoping that my excitement wasnt poking through my shorts.
Living in Northern Virginia it was about a 3 hr drive to our destination in Ocean City, Md. I thought it would be one of those boring rides where neither person says much, but once again I am Italian and can hold a conversation with just baout anyone on anything. We first talked about family and siblings, we are polar opposites in these respects, she has 2 sisters and I have 2 older brothers and a sister, our family lives growing up were completely opposite as well, she being the Daddies girl and having a very loving relationship with her entire family. Where as I love my family but havent always viewed my relationship with them as close or endearing. I think women view the way you are with your family as a major contibutor for things to happen with them in there perspective realtionships. Then she got daring, and decided to ask me about my most craziest sexcapade. I had confessed that about 5 yrs ago at a wedding, I got a little to drunk and provided the some 350 guests with the show of a lifetime with one of the brides maids, she was like OMG thats so funny, and bold in the same statement, I think this was our official ice braking moment. So as a good listener and I proposed the question to her and was pleasantly suprised when she said well I have 2 crazy moments, the first was having sex in a dressing room at a local department store and the 2nd was having sex in a mensroom, at a local hotel/bar. Judging by her looks and upbringing I would have had her pegged for little miss innocent, damn I was wrong, now I find myself wanting to open this book of a female and learn more. Damn look truly can be deciving. Im going to stop here for now since I need to get to the office, I will be back to finish the details....

Beach or Bust........

Well today Im doing something I havent really done before, Im sharing my adventourous side. I met a great girl on Thursday over lunch and low and behold she wanted to do something fun this weekend. I had suggested a wine tour of a local of vineyard, not wanting to appear to needy or forward. The idea went over great, except she suggested the beach which I agreed to, the part im a little nervous about is that this is going to be an over night trip. I dont know why it is, I have a very outgoing personality but its something about spending a night with someone new that really makes my mind wander. Again, I dont know why it is that I get a little nervous, this girl is beautiful in my opinion. She is 25 yrs old, intelligent, successful, funny, witty and has the most eye catching smile, any guy would be thrilled to be in her company. I'm not expecting anything sexual, just a fun relaxing overnight trip to the beach. I must admit Im curious to see her in her bikini, she has a wonderful body. Im also curious to learn more about her and Im hoping I can find enough words and conversation topics to keep her interest for 24 hrs. I will post about the day tommorow upon my return from the beach. Wish me luck and have a safe weekend yourselves.

Computers Suck!!!!!!

Well, I have been without a computer for a few days, unfortunately we had a severe electrical storm on Tuesday which caused my screen to malfunction. Sent the damn thing back to corporate for repairs, and they neglect to send back my power cord. I will post when I can, hopefully tommorow. Hope everyone is doing well.

Bad Things Happen in 3's

Well if its true that the bad things happens in 3's I have one more bad thing to be on the look out for in the coming weeks. I received a phone call this morning from my best childhood friends wife , Once I saw the 610 ( Philly) area code and the time of the call, I knew it wasnt good. The good thing about the call, was it wasnt about my Grandma, the bad news was that my best friend is now blind and deaf on his left side. They discovered a tumor in his ear a month ago, and by Friday it had tripled in mass, they performed surgery this morning and as she was scrolling through his phone and found my number and decided I should be informed, I must admit my parents instilled strong CATHOLIC values in me and I always reached out to my friend and his wife and his children over the years, but as we grew older we grew apart. I always made it a point to call him on his B-day and it was like we never left. But in the last few years that seemed to be the only time we talked. I'm hoping now that this unfortunate incident may open his eyes to the value of true friendship. Yes, I might be 2 hours away from home and my comfort zone but Im still only digits away by phone. Hell call me collect, I'm saddened that he ended up on the wrong side of the tumor, but Im a little bitter about how he chose not to keep in touch. The good news is that he still has his life however it may affect him being deaf in one ear and blind in one eye might be, he still has his wife, and 2 children and family and friends that truly care about him. No matter how bad or how difficult the obstacle in life might be, GOD gave us all the power to over come. I will always respect him as my friend and I will never forget my youth and the crazy things we did as kids. I hope and wish him the best, but the next move after he recovers from surgery is his. You can lead a horse to water but you can't force it to drink. So lets review....

1) Granmom goes for a mean spill and breaks her hip, shoulder and collar bone and has 9 pins inserted, she is in rehab but for 93 yrs old there isnt much hope of her living out her remaining days the way she wanted to..

2) Best friend from homes goes through a tumor and comes out blind and deaf on his left side....

3) Hasnt happened yet, but I will let you know when it does.

To all my friends... I am nothing without you and I hope that you know I respect and love you all and always will until I take my last breath.

ITALY WINS!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, after spending a quiet weekend doing yoga and relaxing at the crib, I jumped back on the boat this Sunday. My beloved Italians were playing in the final of the WORLD CUP. After a brief scare early in the game, the French ( Les Blues) came out on a mission and scored in the first 6 minutes. Several minutes later the Italians returned the favor on a great serve from a corner kick and well placed header into the back of the net. THe game remianed tied through the end of the overtime and went to penalty kicks were the Italians put the game away for good. It was truly an entertaining and physical game and was a shame someone had to lose. All though my heart was rooting for Italy, Thierry Henry ( Arsenal Club Team) is one of my favorite players to watch, and I wouldnt have been disappointed if he won a cup this year. Anyway back to the boat, its not easy to stay sober when you have a house full of liqour and friends. I did indulge in the cocktails, just not so much as to make me an irritable drunkren lush, knowing that I had to work this morning. Looking forward to getting to the beach this weekend to do some fishing, getting some sun, and relaxing with some old and new friends. I will try and post later tonight, but I have a long rough day scheduled see you around 9pm if Im in the mood to post.

Not much To say....

Well, I dont have much to report other then I have been extremely busy with work, and I dont know which end is up. The 4th of July weekend started on Thursday for me, and I did a pretty good job of polluting my liver a little more. Im not really a big drinker, but lately I have been enjoying the fruits of my labor and getting around the town, been hitting,the local bar scene, watching some bands, and enjoying my summer for the most part. The 4th itself was hoot started drinkin aroun noon after playing some soccer with friends, then came back to watch my beloved Italian team play to an amazing victory. Cant wait to see the final game on Sunday. Sorry not much to say but I am really tired, and I feel like between work and play, I have been on this computer all day. So I will catch up later as soon as I feel a little more inspired. Go Italy!!!!!!!
